What an Interesting Day

I had my 3rd wanding today.

On Friday things were looking really great. It appeared that my body accepted the clomid, and all was well. When I went back on Monday, the right side had all died down. But, the left had a huge follie (probably a cyst), and medium one, and one beautiful looker at 19. The scan today showed that the that one had not moved past 19. This is both good and bad, as I found out later. Apparently when follie measured 19 on day 13, it was 1 day ahead of schedule, but since it didn't grow, it's now a day behind. I assumed the cycle was blown, cried on the phone to Joe while in the main waiting room waiting to see my doctor.

Dr. Sh was actually pretty optimistic about the follie measuring at 19. He said my lining was "thick and gorgeous", which in his opinion was more important than the follie measuring a day behind. I'm not really sure what to think, but he's the doc. I have been doing OPKs a couple of times a day. At first I was to OPK, and have fun after a positive, but then Doc decided that I should go ahead and trigger tonight, and have fun. When I got home, I tested and it came back positive, so I assume I am to still go ahead and trigger and dtd.

That's where we're at. My honey just came in with flowers. Rylan is wanting to work on his number book. Fingers crossed.

Re: the measurement. I agree with your doc. It could just be a difference in the tech who measured, or the machine, or anything really. I wouldn't get caught up in the measurement. It's more important that your OPK came up positive. Fingers crossed. Have fun! ;-)
