Some Pictures
The nursery isn't completely done, but you can have a sneak peek today. Joe and I were playing with the camera yesterday and took some belly shots in the nursery.
The beautiful rocking chair Joe's parents bought.
OH MY! That's not a stretch mark, it's actually a busted blood vessel that I've had for 2 months. I don't have any stretch marks yet.. (knock on wood)
The nursery so far.
And last, but not least: SUPER DAD (in training)
In just one more week, I get to drink that icky orange sugary stuff. Exciting. Poor SUPER DAD.. My hormones have been completely out of wack lately. I get so incredibly mad at the drop of a hat, and then I start to cry because I can't control my anger! It's becoming a real issue for me. Joe has been absolutely WONDERFUL and very understanding. He has listened to everything I need to say. He is actually encouraging me to talk through my emotions with him. I can't believe how amazing he is! I am going to discuss my emotional roller coaster with my doc next week. I know there's nothing she can do, but it will help to hear that I'm normal from my doctor. Or at least I hope she's going to say that this is normal. It doesn't feel normal- it feels like I'm losing my mind! Especially with the "baby brain" where I forget everything and am very absentminded.
I'm going to enjoy a piece of homemade apple pie from my mom. :-)
Hope all is well!

The nursery looks adorable! I love the colors. The pic of Joe made me laugh.
No stretch marks! Life is just not fair: it should be compulsory.
Oh Angie - you look BEAUTIFUL!!!! (So does the nursery)
:)
No stretch marks...you are a lucky one!! I got stretch marks as soon as I had a positive pregnancy test!
You look beautiful and so does the nursery. Don't worry about the hormones, they are all normal. I remember doing the same thing when I was preg with Zachary. Mike, bless him, put up with it and never threatened to leave me. Although after the pregnancy was over he said he came close a few times. LOL
You look great! The nursery looks great (I purchased the same mobile for my daughter! :))
Take care and hope those stretch marks stay away!
The nursery is awesome! I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures! What is Joe having a girl or a boy? LOL that cracked me up! Travis said it looks like something me and him would do. Get some scrapbooking supplies and I'll help you if you'd like.

I have been reading your blog since my miscarriage in July and it has inspired me to begin my own. I hope that my story turns out with just as happy of an ending as yours, thanks for sharing your experience. It has helped me through a dark time in my life. Lizzie

You look so gorgeous. The nursery looks darling. Joe looks... well funny in that pose! Too cute. Just thought I'd stop by and say hi and tell you that I'm hoping the sugary stuff isn't as icky as I've heard! Hugs to you and Joe.
Great nursery, and it looks like that impending baby is bringing out the best in both of you.
